Getting Started
This page takes you from install to cleared meeting agenda in four steps.
1. Install Lixir
Visit lixir.app and click Add to Slack. Workspace admins authorise Lixir once per workspace.
2. Ask your first question
In any channel Lixir is in, type:
/ask
A modal opens with a title, context, and question. Submit it — Lixir posts the question to the channel with Approve, Reject, and Discuss at Meeting buttons.
3. Let your team vote
Teammates click a button on the message. With the default Any one can approve mode, the first click resolves the question. Pick a different mode in the modal if you need stricter rules — see Asking Questions for the full list.
Questions deferred with Discuss at Meeting don't vanish — they land in that channel's meeting backlog.
4. Run the next meeting from /agenda
When it's time for your sync, type:
/agenda
Lixir posts an ephemeral list of every deferred question in the channel, each with a Mark Discussed button. Click through the list during the meeting — the agenda doubles as the meeting log, and the ephemeral re-renders as you clear items.
